Burswood Park, located 3kms from the Perth city centre on the banks of the Swan River, offers free guided walking tours of Burswood Park’s award winning gardens and heritage trails.

Tours depart at 11.30am daily from the Burswood Park Visitor Information Centre, Resort Drive, Burswood.

Perth's Best Outdoor Classroom
A series of educational tours is offered by the Burswood Park Tour Hosts enabling school children to learn the history of the Swan River colony and environmental issues associated with the Park's development. Work sheets are provided and visits are commemorated with the planting of a tree.

Barbeques Foster Alfresco Dining
Free electric barbeques are located under shady trees by the foreshore, where families and friends gather to enjoy Perth's mild climate and love of the great outdoors. Children's play areas and inviting green lawns complete the picture of picnic and outdoor life.

Burswood's Childrens Playground
Designed with input from local schoolchildren, Burswood Park's playground by the foreshore provides a safe environment for children of all ages in a colourful and exciting carnival setting. With free barbeques, shade and parking nearby.
